Lightening Auditor
Accessibility
Auditing other people's websites for accessibility and then shipping an inaccessible one would be difficult to defend. So this site was measured, not assumed — and here is what was measured.
What was checked, and what it found
| Check | Result |
|---|---|
| Text contrast, every element on the page | Passes AA |
| Automated accessibility scan (axe) | 100 / 100 |
| Tap targets at least 24 × 24 px | Passes |
| Horizontal scrolling at 375 px | None |
| Heading order, no skipped levels | Passes |
| Keyboard reachable, visible focus ring | Passes |
How it was built
- A skip link is the first thing keyboard and screen-reader users reach.
- Every interactive element has a visible focus outline that is never removed.
- The FAQ uses native
<details>elements, so expanding and collapsing works by keyboard and is announced correctly. - All animation is disabled for anyone with prefers-reduced-motion set.
- Text resizes without breaking the layout, and nothing depends on colour alone to convey meaning.
- No external fonts or scripts, so nothing renders invisibly while waiting on someone else's server.
Known limits
Automated testing catches a large share of problems, not all of them. This site has not been tested with every combination of screen reader and browser, and no honest statement can claim otherwise.
